this is one of those pieces where i had a huge idea that only kinda worked, but i worked on it for too long to just trash it.

Time and Alice from 'Alice though the looking glass'.
i really love that movie-
spoilers- it's all about forgiveness.
Sea captain Alice leaves her traditional mother (who wanted her to get marred and be a lady) for 3 years, she comes back to learn her mom is now poor and unless she sells her boat her mom will be homeless.
back in wonderland/underland (or whatever the real term is) the Mad Hatter needs to find his family who everyone believes is dead.
So the White Queen tells her to take the heart of time (the thing keeping all of time in place) and use it to find answers. (WTF.)
So long story short the character Time is chasing her as she finds the answers she needs to solve the mystery of the Mad hatter's family. why is he so upset? because she stole a vital organ; he was literally dying.
But in the end, when all the mysteries were solved, (and she almost destroyed the world) he forgave her.
and she forgave him; the concept of time. she forgave him for all he took, all the pain he caused, because time gives before time takes.
I cannot properly put in to words how much that meant.
I feel the character time was a version of God someone who controls all, someone you should not defy, but also someone who forgives. because he's seen it all.
it is such a profound scene i felt the need to make a pic.
