a speed drawing challenge with to draw an optimus prime portrait in one sitting. this took me approx 4 hours because i drew the pose with out any reference pics, then pulled up as many transformer 4 images as i could find, to get the costume right.

my goal was 'drama', as inspired by the very dramatic t4 movie.

not spoilers- because this is all over the web; t4 is a mass slaughter of autobots. so when he sent out the 'autobots call/distress signal' my heart was breaking- i thought "no one will answer- they're all dead." of course i was wrong, but there were tears in my eyes.

(I'll stop here, because I don't want to totally spoil my favorite scene in the movie- well 2nd favorite behind that hilariously awesome bumblebee/stinger scene.)
